 "text": "RS 14:1\n\nTITLE 14 CRIMINAL LAW\n\nCHAPTER 1. CRIMINAL CODE\n\nPART I. GENERAL PROVISIONS\n\nSUBPART A. PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS\n\n\u00a71. Method of citation\n\nThis Chapter shall be known as the Louisiana Criminal Code. The\nprovisions hereunder may be referred to or cited either as Articles of the\nCriminal Code or as Sections of the Revised Statutes. Thus Article 30 of\nLouisiana Criminal Code may also be referred to or cited as R.S. 14:30.\n\nWhenever reference is made herein to an Article of the Criminal Code,\nthe same shall also relate to the corresponding Section of the Revised Statutes."
