 "text": "RS 14:390.1\n\n\u00a7390.1. Definition of communist propaganda\n\n(1) \"Communist propaganda\" means any oral, visual, graphic, written,\npictorial or other communication which is issued, prepared, printed, procured,\ndistributed or disseminated by the Soviet Union, any of its satellite countries,\nor by the government of any other communist country or any agent of the\nSoviet Union, its satellite countries or any other communist country, wherever\nlocated, or by any communist organization, communist action organization,\ncommunist front organization, communist infiltrated organization or\ncommunist controlled organization or by any agent of any such organization,\nwhich communication or material from any of the above listed sources is\n\n(a) reasonably adopted to, or which the person disseminating the same\nbelieves will, or which he intends to, prevail upon, indoctrinate, convert,\ninduce, or in any way influence a recipient or any section of the public with\nreference to the political or public interests, policies or relations of a\ngovernment of a foreign country or a foreign political party, or promote in the\nUnited States or the state of Louisiana, any attitude or state of mind that tends\nto undermine the determination of any citizen of the United States or of any of\nthe various states to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States\nor the constitutions of the respective states, or tends to create or encourage\ndisrespect for duly constituted legal authority, either federal or state, or\n\n(b) which advocates, advises, instigates or promotes any racial, social,\npolitical or religious disorder, civil riot, or other conflict involving the use of\nforce or violence in the United States, the state of Louisiana or any other\nAmerican republic, or the overthrow of any government or political\nsubdivision of the United States, the state of Louisiana or any other American\nrepublic by any means involving the use of force or violence.\n\n(2) For the purposes of R.S. 14:390 through 390.8, the fact that an\norganization has been officially cited or identified by the attorney general of\nthe United States, the subversive activities control board of the United States\nor any committee of the United States Congress as a communist organization,\na communist action organization, a communist front organization or a\ncommunist infiltrated organization or has been in any other way officially cited\nor identified by any of these aforementioned authorities as a communist\ncontrolled organization, shall be considered presumptive evidence of the\nfactual status of any such organization.\n\nAdded by Acts 1962, No. 245, \u00a71."
