 "text": "RS 14:93.16\n\n\u00a793.16. Unlawful sales of consumable hemp products to persons under twenty-one\n\nA. It is unlawful for any person to sell, distribute, dispense, or otherwise deliver any\nconsumable hemp product, as defined in R.S. 3:1481, to any person under twenty-one years\nof age unless such person is the lawful owner or lawful employee of an establishment to\nwhich the sale is being made and is accepting such delivery pursuant to such ownership or\nemployment. Lack of knowledge of the person's age shall not be a defense.\n\nB. Whoever violates the provisions of this Section shall be fined not less than five\nhundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned for not less than thirty\ndays nor more than six months, or both.\n\nActs 2025, No. 233, \u00a71."
