 "text": "RS 14:93.17\n\n\u00a793.17. Purchase and possession of consumable hemp products by a minor; penalties\n\nA. It is unlawful for any person under twenty-one years of age to purchase or possess\nany consumable hemp product as defined in R.S. 3:1481.\n\nB.(1) Whoever violates the provisions of this Section shall be fined not more than\none hundred dollars.\n\n(2) Any person apprehended while violating the provisions of this Section shall be\nissued a citation by the apprehending law enforcement officer, which shall be paid in the\nsame manner as provided for the offenders of local traffic violations. A citation issued by a\nlaw enforcement officer for such violation shall not be included on the person's criminal\nhistory record.\n\nActs 2025, No. 233, \u00a71."
